Personal Data Notice
By registering to our training events, you understand that we will be sharing of your personal data (name, e–mail address, employer) with the trainer responsible for the training event which may be located outside of the EEA. The country where the trainer is located is indicated in the description of the training event. This sharing of your personal data is done on the basis of legitimate interest as it is required because this information is necessary for the trainer to contact the participants with important information and take attendance.
Registration
By registration, we mean the act of filling in the registration form for any of the training events listed on our website. It can also mean the act of agreeing with a member of the FAMI-QS team to attend a specific training event by e-mail. Once the form has been filled or an agreement has been made, the registration is complete, and the individual and the company they represent are bound to these terms.
Registrations are open until two weeks before the start of the training, or until there are no more places available. If the registrations to the training of your choice are closed, you may contact us at teams@fami-qs.org to verify whether there are places available or to be put on a waiting list. In the event of a cancellation, you will be informed and asked to confirm that you are still able to attend before your registration is confirmed.
As FAMI-QS is a worldwide scheme, participants are strongly encouraged to register for training events aimed at their geographic location. The timetable of each event indicates times in the time-zone of the trainer. The time-zone of the trainer as well as the target regions are indicated in the description of each event. Registrations in the incorrect time-zone will not be rejected out-right, but FAMI-QS or the trainer cannot be held responsible for the inconvenience, and we reserve the right to cancel registrations. We expect the participants who register for training events outside of their region to ensure they are able to follow and participate actively even if the training takes place outside of their normal working hours.
Only participants who work for a company operating in the feed ingredients industry may register. FAMI-QS may allow registrations from others on a case-by-case basis.
Participation in the Feed Fraud Prevention and Defense training is only open to FAMI-QS members. Registrations from individuals who do not work for a FAMI-QS member will be rejected.
FAMI-QS Training events all take place online, unless stated otherwise. The training links will be sent to valid participants in the few days prior to the training. Participants who have not received the training links should contact teams@fami-qs.org at least 24 hours prior to the start of the training so that we can send it to them again. Not receiving the training link will not be considered a valid reason for not attending if the participant has not informed FAMI-QS of issues in a timely manner.
The training links should not be shared with other people, only the individuals registered for the training are allowed to attend. If unexpected participants take part in the training, their attendance will be invoiced to their employer. If the identity of the participant or their employer cannot be confirmed, the trainers will prevent the participant from attending.
Certificates of completion and the slides used in the training are sent to participants that have attended the full training and have paid the training fee. Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are available for the full duration of the training event.
Participants must keep their cameras on at all times except breaks. Microphones must be kept silent when not speaking.
Training events may be recorded if the trainer and all the participants agree to do so. These recordings may not be shared with anyone outside of your organisation.
Invoicing
An invoice will be sent to every valid registered participant and the company that they work for 2 weeks prior to the start of the training event.
It is possible to attend the event before payment of the training fee has been received.
If the client company has a Purchase Order system in place or requires any formality to proceed with the payment of the invoice, FAMI-QS demands that they inform us and provide the necessary proactively at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the training. We cannot be held responsible for not fulfilling such requirements if this condition is not respected.
Cancellation
If a participant can no longer attend the training and must cancel their registration, we require them to do so at the latest 2 weeks before the start of the training. We will require the training price to be paid for any cancellation after that point, or for failure to attend.
It is possible to change the participant until noon central European time, on the day before the training so we have time to inform the trainer.
Responsibility
FAMI-QS and the trainer accept no responsibility for any action or decision taken by you on the basis of what is said in the training. As the reality of each participant company is different, we offer no guarantee that applying the recommendations and suggestions made in the training will lead to a successful audit.
